I have recently seen a few posts complaining about moderators unnecessarily deleting threads/posts.

Here are our rules regarding post and thread deletion:

- Threads will be deleted if a thread already exists about the same thing. The deletion reason should be a link to the original thread
- If a member makes another thread about a problem that already exists after they have already had a thread deleted, they will be banned temporarily
- Threads created for abusive/flaming/irrational/unnecessary purposes will be deleted, and the member might be banned depending on the severity
- Threads created solely for complaining will be deleted, nobody wishes to read threads like this and you should contact me directly if you have a complaint

- Posts will be deleted if a post already exists about the same thing. We do not need 200 posts about the same thing.
- Posts will be deleted if they are misleading/inaccurate or completely incorrect. This is so that other people do not read it and become confused
- Posts will be deleted if they are abusive/flaming/irrational/unncessary, and the member might be banned depending on the severity

As stated, if you wish to complain about anything within CodeHook, do not post a thread or within a thread. Instead, e-mail me directly (you can find my e-mail on the contact page of the CodeHook website).

If a CodeHook staff member is found to be deleting posts/threads outside this criteria then they will receive a warning. If they continue to do so, they may be demoted and replaced by somebody else.

And yes...you can complain about me if you want! If you think I am handling things inappropriately then feel free to tell me. After all, I'm a coder and not a customer support representative!

Thanks,
